"I baptise myself The Slut of Springfield!"In one of soaps' most famous moments, GL's Reva (Kim Zimmer) catapaulted from leading lady to daytime icon in a scene once voted by GL fans as the series' best ever. A wheelchair-bound Josh (Robert Newman) and "scarlet woman" Reva, then his stepmother, have both had about enough of each other at this point. It all comes to a fever pitch when Reva, fed up with Josh's suspicions of her fidelity to his father, strips down to her undies, jumps in the courtyard fountain, and baptises herself "The Slut of Springfield." Zimmer is pitch perfect here, and GL itself has never been better in its entire run as TV's oldest series.
