There have been a lot of kidnappings in soap history, but for my money, none was more get-the-popcorn-watchable than Y&R's 1988 saga in which Brad Carlton (Don Diamont) was nabbed by his loony, long-haired ex-wife, Lisa Mansfield (Lynne Harbuagh). After leading everyone in Genoa City (including his wife) to believe Brad left town on his own accord, Lisa then put her former beau in a cage in her secluded mountain home. Hunky Brad languished there for months and months, finally deciding the only way he'd make his way out was to play into Lisa's deluded fantasies of a marital reunion. Here, the long-awaited re-enactment of the couple's wedding night, where Brad would finally get to attempt an escape. (Listen for the music when Brad sees Lisa's purse while holding her in bed: I totally dig that part!)
