"Good wins out over evil...HA! HA!"We'll start our list of memories with more of a Maalox Moment. Quite often mentioned as the dumbest storyline in soap opera history, Austin & Greta's (Austin Peck & Julianne Morris) 1999 portalized trip to the Garden of Eden basically resulted in a meaningless plot where barely-clothed actors recited stupid dialogue unconvincingly. Intermingled with Greta's Salem-based attempts to help some orphans, somehow they were transported to this kooky place (for what seemed like weeks on end) just to pass a series of oddball tests. The real test was for the audience not to turn the channel. (Oh, and at my house, Austin's "Good wins out over evil...HA! HA!" is the stuff of legend.)
